It has been 18 years of working as a physiotherapist covered a journey of almost professional working of 75500 hours.
Still feeling fresh and reguvinated to work for more than lakhs of hours from now. This is because physiotherapy has given me alot.
I believed from begining that PHYSIOTHERAPY CAN DO MIRACLES and now I believe that this miracle not just happens for your patients but also for you as well in your proffesional development, personal development, social recognition, monetary status. Just we need full dedication, patience, ethical practice, ability to learn, adjust, conflict management, and few more qualities to excel in this profession.
In past few years I have gone through various inputs from various social sites, some seniors and friends across me that they are leaving the profession and planing to do something else. I just want to convey that my profession PHYSIOTHERAPY is capable of making a person millionaire there is nothing insufficient in the profession. I do agree that failures are there in this profession also as they are in every other professions too I have seen many physicians, orthopaedic, charted accountant, engineers etc getting failed in their profession too. Here in my profession possibility of failure is much less.
These failure can be due to various reasons personal or situational do not please just see the darker side I can name hundreds of therapist whose success cannot be measured in figures of earning they are examples for many people of many professsions.
As far as my journey I began with nothing in 1999 now in 2017 I have reach of upto 12000 families ie approximately 50000 people know me as therapist. This I feel when I walk to market on a holiday and people around me greets me with happiness and gratitude this moment gives me immense of pleasure and satisfaction.
Not only this when my patient recommends me to his known people and relatives this confidence of them on me gives a great happiness.
Above all I have a family parents, wife, two kids and whenever they need anything I am there to fullfill their needs. I can provide them luxuries a lifestyle that they wished for. This is just because my profession is giving me enough to fulfill my responsibilities.
This journey was not easy nothing comes by itself I had worked for 14 hours a day, worked not only as a physiotherapist but also has to be sales person at times has to work as electrician at times, has to be student has to be teacher, listened to criticism many times.Sometimes single handedly taken care of clinic been receptionist, calling staff, cleaning staff and much more just to give my patients the best possible service I can.
Just summing up PHYSIOTHERAPY CAN DO MIRACLES for everyone of you just be hard working, be flexible enough to do anything that can be required to move yourself ahead in your carrier growth. Learn all skills not only in physiotherapy but also in marketing, sales, business development, etc Be a full package than just a therapist.Best of luck to everyone from my side to be successful in their life.
